Get Started in Manufacturing

Break into a career in manufacturing! Learn the fundamentals to get a job in assembly, production or warehousing. This Three Week program is designed to give you the tools and practice you need to go directly to work at completion.

Phase One – Employment Basics

Start by learning the basics for industrial employment. Build a resume, get an introduction to our employer partners, explore open jobs, and review essential math and measurement skills.

Phase Two – Job Shadow

Shadow a worker in your chosen field. See what a day working in various manufacturing plants looks like so you can choose a company and position that fits your career goals.

Phase Three – Pathway Focus

In the last phase of job training, focus on manufacturing essentials. Learn how to move and manage stock, use a pallet jack, practice packing and shipping orders, work on a production line to learn production flow and speed, and earn your OSHA10 and factory forklift certification.

Training runs Monday through Thursday, 9:30 – 3 and Friday 9:30 – 12. At the end of three weeks, our goal is to have you placed in full-time position that fits your skillset, schedule, and preferred pay.
