Test Drive a Career in Manufacturing
Looking to start or change careers? Our general manufacturing job training session may be the right path for you! This is the fastest pathway to a full-time career. Get a brief overview of what it’s like to work in manufacturing, work first hand processing real orders and working on real projects, and partner with a career counselor to brush-up your resume and schedule interviews with our employers.
Training runs Monday through Thursday, 9:30 – 2:30. At the end of three weeks, our goal is to have you placed in full-time position that fits your skillset, schedule, and preferred pay.

- Applicants must be RI residents 18+
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be unemployed or underemployed

Manufacturing Exploration
This program is specifically for workers age 17-25 who want to explore alternate career paths. In 6 weeks, students learn production, quality, control, digital imprinting and more to test drive a job in manufacturing!
Materials Handling
Specialize for a career in materials handling with forklift training, inventory control and management systems, packing and shipping, and loading and unloading cargo in a factory environment.
Job Fairs
The last Thursday of each month, we hold an in-person manufacturing job fair. Meet directly with employers, explore our job board, and learn about our programs to help you skill up your career.
